Laura "Pon" Robertson knows what it means to rebuild a life from the ground up.
Born in a refugee camp after her family fled Laos in search of safety and a better future, Laura's life began with uncertainty. After arriving in the United States with very little, she learned early that resilience, hard work, and hope could change the trajectory of a life. Those lessons became the foundation of the woman, entrepreneur, and leader she is today.
Her journey continued to be shaped by challenges that tested her faith and perseverance. Laura survived domestic violence, experienced financial hardship, lost her husband of 17 years to cancer, and stepped into the role of raising her grandchildren through foster care. Each season required her to rebuild—not only her life, but also her sense of purpose.
Instead of allowing those experiences to define her, Laura transformed adversity into purpose and her life experiences into a platform that empowers others.
With more than 20 years of executive leadership experience, Laura led initiatives that strengthened organizations, developed leaders, expanded programs, and created lasting community impact. Today, she brings that same strategic leadership to entrepreneurs, professionals, and purpose-driven organizations through business strategy, brand development, website design, speaking, and consulting—helping clients build authentic brands, grow sustainable businesses, and create lives rooted in purpose. Laura doesn't just teach entrepreneurship—she lives it. Throughout her career, she has founded and launched multiple businesses and initiatives across branding, beauty, wellness, creative media, retail, and community development. From launching Lao Dream Dolls to creating Beautiful Potential, Heavenly Nails, Silhouette Modeling & Marketing, Silhouette Creative Studio, Sip & Glow Nutrition, Di'Aura Beauty Supply, S&S Film and Music Production, luxury salon suites, and her author and speaking platform, each venture has strengthened her expertise in building brands, serving customers, and creating businesses with purpose. These experiences give Laura a unique perspective. She understands the excitement of launching a new idea, the challenges of growing a business, and the resilience required to pivot, reinvent, and keep moving forward. She is a passionate advocate for survivors of domestic violence. Laura also serves on the board of Multicultural Education Group (MEG) and BridgingHeart, supporting initiatives that foster healing, leadership, and stronger communities. Laura believes every challenge carries the opportunity for growth and every story has the power to inspire transformation.
